Course Description:
This is a one-credit semester course in art. This course outline will include the four components of Discipline-Based Art Education; Art History, Aesthetics, Criticism and Production. Students will be introduced to a variety of drawing techniques, styles, and materials.
Materials Needed:
Folder for handout materials
Sketchbook for sketches and preliminary work
#2 Pencils
Art gum eraser/ or soft eraser
watercolor set for washes (can be an old set)
Set of colored pencils (Crayola or Prismacolor)
Small box of Oil Pastels
2 Sharpy black fine tip markers
