Art is the ability to create.  Being able to create works of art gives many a sense of achievement and an outlet for their emotions.  The Art classes at Wapahani, directed by Anita Jones, gives students a break from their normally hectic day, and a chance to express themselves in their own individual way. 

Students who experience success in the Arts are many times students who develop their ability to express their thoughts and think independently.
