Beginning Cisco is the first half of the Cisco Networking Academy Program. In this course, students will:
  • Learn about current networking technologies.
  • Study networking, networking terminology and protocols, network cabling, cabling tools, routers, router programming, Ethernet, Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, network standards, etc.
  • Emphasis will be placed on critical thinking, decision making and problem solving.
  • Students will learn how to use and maintain networking equipment, tools, software and hardware.
