Our Summer Writing Gallery is ready for submissions. The link at the left takes students, teachers or community members to our local gallery on the National Gallery web site. The place to contribute writing is at the bottom. |

The
date is getting close for our Literacy Night to celecbrate the first ever
National Day on Writing and out own Selma Summer Writing Gallery. I
appreciate all of the interest and participation from teachers and
students. I just need a couple more things from you as teachers:
1) Submit any writing from yourself or students that you would like published no later than Oct. 10th. 2) Send me an email with the names of any students that have submitted writing to the gallery that you would like to have a special invitation printed for their family. Please get these names to me as soon as possible and again no later then the 10th so I can get the invitations printed and sent home. We are planning a wonderful family friendly writing celebration at the Selma Elementary School on the evening of Oct. 20th from 6 -7:30. Please let your writers know and encourage them to come join in the fun. Hope to see you all there. |
