The Math Department implemented the use of a SmartBoard in
each of the math classrooms this fall. The innovative
technology is used to create interactive lessons. A
European report on the impact of information and communication
technology (ICT) on student achievement reveals that using
interactive whiteboards results in improved test scores,
especially in subjects such as English, math and science.
After presenting new material, Mrs. Maurer posts her class
notes for on the school web site. This will allow students
to access the lecture notes and material after school.
