Background: Mrs. Huffman has taught at Liberty-Perry since 1973 - 34 years of teaching grades 1, 2, 3 or 4!  First grade continues to be her favorite because, as she says, "of the tremendous growth these children show during the year."

Homework:  The students have reading homework every night, and she listens to them reading their homework every morning.  They have become very good readers!
