Pink Flamingos Help
Students Raise Money
The
Wapahani High School Class of 2012 has been challenged to raise money for
their class in a unique way. Therefore, they are going to raise the money with the help of
pink, plastic flamingos!
How
does this work?
-
Anyone can
purchase a small, medium or super size flock to be placed in a chosen
“victim’s” yard.
-
The birds
will rest for a 24 hour period, then will be removed and will migrate
to their next yard chosen to be flocked.
-
There will
be a pink sign in the yard to indicate you have been “officially”
flocked by the WHS Class of 2012.
-
No
businesses or apartment complexes will be flocked.
What
will the money raised be used for?
What
if I don’t want to be flocked?
How
do I sign up to flock someone or purchase anti-flocking insurance?
-
Purchases
can be made at WHS during lunch or in the guidance office.
-
Anyone can
download a form for purchasing a flock or getting insurance from the
Wapahani High School website at www.selma.k12.in.us.
Payments and forms can be mailed to the high school.
